MedTech Forum – Ask the expert session

Last 15^th of May, Ekkart Kaske, Executive Director of EJF, had the pleasure of participating as a speaker to the MedTech Forum 2019, which took place in Paris. Ekkart Kaske was invited to lead an expert session on ‘European class action/collective redress’, during which he shared several insights in regard to the Directive on Representative actions and on the current procedural landscape.

Ekkart Kaske gave an overview of EJF’s position regarding out-of-court and in-court settlements, highlighting how alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as ombudsman, constitute a more efficient and effective way forward for both businesses and consumers.
